As a result of the release of new 'Asbestos Regulations' in April 2016, there has been a very significant increase in work involving Asbestos throughout New Zealand. Our surveying department requires the services of a full time qualified Asbestos Surveyor/Assessor.

You will have a good understanding of asbestos within the built environment.
​
Ideally you will:
1 - Have a university / polytechnic degree in one of the environmental, occupational health or base sciences, and/or possess the UK based BOHS-P402, P403 and P404 Qualification or their Australian equivalent.
2 - Have worked as a Surveyor and/or Assessor for a minimum of 3 years.
3 - Have very good English oral and written communication skills.
4 - Have good command of standard Microsoft packages, word, excel etc.
5 - Have the ability to work closely within a small dedicated team, yet be fully capable of working in a stand alone situation.
6 - Be capable of liaising with a wide variety of personnel.
7 - Be physically fit.
It is preferred that the successful applicant is legally able to work in New Zealand although we can assist in visa applications from the UK.
Remuneration is negotiable and will be consistent with experience and qualifications.
*We also have positions available for University graduates willing to start at the beginning of a structured training programme. Driving licence is preferred.
